Beach Week, Tuesday August 12, 2009

Monday we spent the day at the bay. Tuesday we went back to the Ocean beach. Here are some fun photos from that day:

There was time to visit

And sing songs too:

We played in sand

And played with dad,

     

And with mom in the Ocean blue.

  

I love the ocean in the morning. The beach is still pretty empty and the water is usually nice and calm. It’s perfect for taking the kids out into the ocean to give it a try. Katherine loved it although she was a bit nervous. She wanted to be in the water but had to be held close. Whenever I pushed her away from me she would try to wrap her feet around me like a koala bear and not let go. She even tried to climb up onto my shoulder because she just wasn’t quite sure about the water. She also tried to keep her feet up out of the water. I guess she thought she wouldn’t sink into the ocean if she kept her feet up on top of mommy. You can see her trying that in the top two pictures. It was very cute having a very brave yet a little scared Katherine to play with me in the Ocean.
